Please note: This is the Sprint CDMA version of the HTC Hero and not the GSM version of the same name but with a different look. As promised, in the unboxing video that I did for my wife's new Palm Pre, here is another unboxing video for my new smartphone: the HTC Hero. I decided to go with an Android based smartphone because of the vast possibilities that the operating system offers in terms of customization, application support, as well as upgradability. I resolved myself to making this video because I wanted to outline the array of components and documentation that are included in the HTC Hero's packaging in addition to several ancillary accessories that were purchased to be used with it. The HTC Hero, along with my new unlimited data plan, should prove to be a good combination in practice for my new found purposes in a smartphone.
